After months of speculation, it’s official: the Heidelberg Cubist Society has reclaimed Alpine Status and will rejoin the WADL Minor League for the 2025/26 season. The announcement confirms that the Heidelberg Cubists Society will replace the Feldberg Skyliners, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another in the Alpine Dice landscape.
This return wasn’t automatic. It followed a successful appeal to the Global Alpine Diceman Alliance (GADA), which restored the club’s standing after last season’s disqualification. The decision means Heidelberg once again has the opportunity to compete at the highest levels of Alpine Dice Competitions.

A Team with Deep Roots
In the shadow of Heidelberg’s historic castle, the Cubist Society has always been more than just a dice team. Part academic circle, part cultural club, and part competitive unit, the Heidelberg Cubist Society embraces both tradition and experimentation. Their approach blends art, science, chance, and strategic evolution—an identity that makes them one of the most distinctive presences in the league.
With Alpine Status now secured, the focus turns to building the 2025/26 roster. According to WADL regulations, the Cubists must submit their full player lineup by October 30, 2025. All eyes will be on team captain Adam Lovelock, who is expected to lead the announcement and set the tone for the upcoming season.
Looking Ahead the reinstatement of the Cubists is already generating excitement across the WADL community. Fans are eager to see how the team will balance its intellectual flair with the practical demands of league play. Can Heidelberg translate its unique philosophy into wins on the World Alpine Dice stage?
One thing is certain: the 2025/26 season just got a lot more interesting.
