World Alpine Dice Governance

Global Alpine Dice Governance and the World Alpine Dice League
The governance of Alpine Dice, is a multi-tiered system with the Global Alpine Diceman Alliance (GADA) at its helm. GADA acts as the strategic architect and organizer of the World Alpine Dice League (WADL), fostering a sense of "togetherness" and responsible mountaineering.
At the core of this structure, serving as a guiding light of wisdom and expertise, is the Dedicated Institute for Cubistic Expression (D.I.C.E.). In instances of doubt or dispute, D.I.C.E. stands as an intellectual and moral beacon, upholding the principles and values that unite the global Alpine Dice community.
Beneath GADA sits a global network of continental governing bodies that manage Alpine Dice at the regional level:
• North America:
â—¦ National Dice Association (NDA): Promotes fair play, organizes tournaments, and fosters the Alpine Dice community in North America .
â—¦ The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association of Dice (FONCACAD): Oversees tournaments, including the FONCACAD Gold Cup, and manages WADL qualifications.
• Europe:
â—¦ Union of European Alpine Dice Associations (UEADA): Organizes European Alpine Dice play, including the UEADA European Alpine Dice Championship (ADEUROS), and collaborates with GADA on WADL qualifications.
• Africa:
â—¦ Confédération des Cubistes Africains (CCA): Governs competitive Alpine Dice in Africa, organizing tournaments like the Africa Cup of Cubists (AFCOC) and managing WADL qualifications.
• Asia and Australia:
â—¦ Asian Dice Confederation (ADC): Oversees Alpine Dice in the region, organizing competitions like the ADC Asia Cup and managing WADL qualifications.
• South America:
â—¦ CONMEBOS (Confederación Sudamericana de Cubos): The South American Cubist Confederation, responsible for tournaments and WADL qualifications in the region.
In addition to the regional bodies, specialized organizations focus on particular aspects of the WADL:
• Alpine Dice Referees Association (ADRA): The exclusive bargaining representative for WADL officials, ensuring fair play across the league.
• World Alpine Dice Players Union (WADPU): Represents all past and present WADL players, advocating for fair competition and a brighter future for the sport.
By combining the robust organizational framework of GADA with the thoughtful guidance of D.I.C.E., the global Alpine Dice community ensures the sport's legacy thrives amidst evolving challenges and opportunities.

Alpine Dicemanship
High-altitude dice games have been played for centuries in various cultures around the world, particularly in mountainous regions. These games are often played outdoors, where the elevation adds an extra level of challenge and excitement.

Games are played at high elevations, where the air is thin and the atmosphere is different from what most people are used to. Playing dice games at high altitude can be challenging, but it can also be a lot of fun.

Joining the Global Alpine Diceman Alliance is not just about extreme-dicing; it is about being part of a community that values creativity, togetherness, and pushing the limits of what is possible. We are proud to be a part of this exclusive High-Altitude E-xtreme community and look forward to welcoming new members who share our passion.
